INBEB and its researchers carry out and participate in a series of educational and scientific outreach activities, such as courses aimed at teachers and students from public and private elementary and high schools, participation in science fairs and events, production of videos, among others.

In 2012, the Institute established the Center for Scientific Education and Outreach (NEDiCi, in Portuguese), which is now responsible for the outreach activities of CENABIO.
